Family Owned

Hokonui Haulage is a family owned and operated company that was started as M & M Transport in 1976.

Since then the company has evolved through mergers but in 2007 was bought back by Peter MacKay to maintain its core focus of a quality service.

Today Mr MacKay directs the company and with the help of his children and a dedicated group of operators the company is growing year-on-year.

Hokonui Haulage operates its vehicles between Christchurch, the West Coast and Bluff but also provides transport logistics nationwide through company partnerships and rail connections.
